Ask about the exact model
When a pool uses a salt chlorination system, tell the supplier before choosing a pump. Ask for written confirmation of the proposed model’s permitted water conditions and material compatibility.
A brand may offer several different models. Compatibility stated for one product should not be assumed for every item in its catalogue.
Include the chlorination equipment
Share the chlorinator model, intended water conditions and the other equipment in the circulation circuit. Ask your installer to confirm the flow requirements and proposed arrangement.
Keep the chlorinator instructions and pump information together. They are useful when commissioning the system and when requesting support later.
Check documentation and warranty terms
Ask which operating conditions are included in the instructions and whether the warranty has relevant exclusions. Request an explanation of any limits you do not understand.
Do not treat a supplier’s general description of durability as a substitute for product information. The written quotation should identify the model being supplied.
Send a complete COREX enquiry
Include the pool location, pump requirements and details of the salt system. Ask for the relevant model documents and written compatibility confirmation. Confirm saltwater suitability against the documents for the proposed model.
