Define what the pool needs
Share the pool dimensions, depth, intended use and the equipment you plan to connect. A small pool with a heater or water feature can have different requirements from a simple pool of similar size.
For a new home, involve the pool installer early. Equipment choices affect the pipe layout, electrical provision and the space needed for access.
Avoid buying by size alone
The smallest advertised pump is not automatically the right choice. The largest affordable pump is not automatically better either. Ask for a model that matches the required flow and the rest of the system.
Request the pump curve and filter rating. Your installer should explain how they fit the proposed pool rather than relying only on a horsepower label.
Consider everyday ownership
Ask where the pump will sit, how the basket will be reached and how the motor will receive ventilation. Discuss noise in relation to bedrooms, terraces and neighbouring properties.
Find out who will handle service enquiries. Keep the equipment model and supplier details somewhere easy to find.
Prepare a clear enquiry
Send COREX the pool size, installation country, proposed filter and any additional equipment. Ask for a suitable model proposal, dimensions, available quantity and warranty terms. This gives you a better starting point than asking for a pump for a small pool without further details.
