Check the actual installation rating
Ask for the pump’s installation instructions and relevant protection rating. Outdoor use, exposure to rain and immersion are different conditions. Do not treat them as interchangeable.
Your installer should confirm the position, electrical protection and drainage needed for the selected equipment.
Design for access as well as appearance
Leave practical access to the pump basket, motor, valves and service connections. Check that the enclosure does not block the ventilation required by the model.
A neat equipment area should still make inspection and maintenance possible without dismantling the surrounding structure.
Consider the whole equipment area
Discuss rainwater, irrigation spray, potential flooding and the location of stored materials. Ask the installer to review how these conditions affect the arrangement. Include service clearances and the route for removing equipment in the plan.
If electrical equipment has been flooded or visibly damaged, keep it isolated and arrange a qualified inspection before use.
Share the location with COREX
When asking for a pump proposal, include photographs or a drawing of the planned equipment area. Request dimensions and installation requirements for the quoted model. This lets the enclosure design follow the equipment rather than forcing equipment into an unsuitable space.
