Decide how the pool will be used
Tell your service provider whether the pool will remain in use, operate less often or be closed for the season. Include local weather conditions and the installed equipment.
A summer timer setting is not automatically the right winter plan. Ask for a clear operating or closure procedure for the installation.
Discuss freezing conditions
Where freezing is possible, request a model specific protection or winterising procedure. Do not assume that running the pump guarantees protection or that every controller includes a freeze function.
Ask the installer to explain what happens during a power interruption and which parts of the system need attention.
Keep closure work organised
If equipment will be drained or isolated, use the manufacturer’s instructions and qualified assistance where needed. Ensure controls cannot start equipment unexpectedly while it is not ready to operate.
Record what was done and retain any removed components as directed. This helps the service provider prepare a proper return to operation.
Request the right documents
Send COREX the equipment models and location when requesting operating information. A pool in coastal Spain, an inland European location and a Pakistani city may need different seasonal arrangements. Use the actual installation conditions to plan the work.
