Your pump should clean all the water in about 8 hours. Find your pool volume in cubic metres. Divide it by 8. That is the flow you need each hour. Example: a 10 m by 5 m pool, 1.5 m deep on average, holds 75 m³. It needs about 9.4 m³ per hour. A 0.75 HP pump is enough.
Match the filter to the pump. The filter flow must be the same as the pump flow or more. For about 10 m³ per hour, a 500 mm sand filter works well.
Use one light for about every 20 m² of water. A 10 m by 5 m pool is 50 m². It needs 3 lights.
Multiply length by width by average depth. Average depth is the shallow end plus the deep end, divided by 2. The answer is in m³. Multiply by 1,000 for litres.
Blue is the most popular. White shows the water as it is. Warm white feels like a hotel. RGB lights change colour and are best for parties.
Only if you want to swim in winter. A heat pump makes the water warm. Size it to your pool volume. About 1 kW for every 4.5 m³ of water.
